It demonstrates reliability under stress, supporting loads of up to 80 kg (176 lb) as designed.

Haven't used it much yet but can already see it's a big improvement on gen 2! Feels sturdier and less likely to fold when you don't want it to which is good. Only downside is it's very fiddly to attach to bike but hopefully won't need to fiddle much with it.
