Since the first Nello Century Cycle Challenge in 2000, the ride has raised nearly £1.3m for FORCE Cancer Charity, which works locally to support anyone affected by cancer, face-to-face and close to home.
The ride has grown from attracting a field of 90 cyclists in that first year to regularly filling up to its 1,500 capacity. Choose from two great routes and be a part of this very special ride. Cyclists, spectators and locals can join our Italian Festival to celebrate the 25th Year of The Nello!
Choose between 60 or 100 miles. All bikes are welcome - including e-bikes. It's not a sportive, it's not chip times and not a race! Lets have fun and support a great cause. Entry is currently £40.00 (early bird ends 31st January 2024)
Start and finish at Topsham Rugby Club. 1,500 capacity. 14 years of age(18 unaccompanied)
We encourage you to set a £500 fundraising target, helping FORCE support more people affected by cancer right here in Devon.
When you hit the £250 half way mark you will receive a FREE exclusive Nello 25th year T-shirt.
When you reach the £500 target you will get a bonus entry into The Pinarello bike draw to win a £4,500 bike
This ride is a charity event and we would encourage you to either fundraise or make a donation when registering.
The Route
The classic 100 mile pedal from Topsham over the roof of Exmoor and back is one of the highlights of the annual cycling calendar offering great scenery, superb climbs and far-reaching views. The 60 mile route, splitting from the 100 mile in Tiverton, heads across the county and offers the chance to enjoy scenic country roads and a superb break in Nomansland.
