The 2025 Cannondale Topstone 2 1X Gravel Bike is a versatile gravel bike that works for weekend rides, exploring and bikepacking. The Topstone 2 is available with either a 1x or 2x drivetrain. The 1x is generally better for people who will spend most of their time off-road, while the 2x is generally better for people doing a mix of road and off-road riding.
The aluminium Topstone is built around a SmartForm C2 frame which uses Cannondale’s OutFront Steering Geometry. This is an extra-long fork offset paired with a slack head angle which keeps the steering light and lively, yet delivers confidence at speed. The new full carbon fork is light, comfortable and precise. It also features three mount bosses on each leg for maximizing cargo capacity.
The Topstone 2 1X comes with a 1x11 speed Shimano CUES groupset and Shimano CUES hydraulic disc brakes. The Topstone comes with 37c tyres fitted but has clearance for tyres up to 45mm.
