The Autumn Storm and the Autumn Breeze.

For the third year, FORCE are hosting the Autumn Series bike rides – The Autumn Storm and the Autumn Breeze.

We can confirm the event will take place on Sunday 29th September and both routes will go from Clyst Vale Community College in Broadclyst. Cyclists will be on staggered starts in small batches between 8am and 8:30am.

The Autumn Breeze (30 miles) will take in the areas around Payhembury, Broadhembury, Kentisbeare, Clyst Hydon and Talaton.

The Autumn Storm (55 miles) incorporates the above with additional mileage covering Churchinford, Hemyock and Dunkeswell – with a few hills to accompany the amazing scenery!

  • Equipment

You will, of course, need a bike! The best type of bike for this event would be a road bike, however
hybrid bike or a touring bike would also be suitable. You will also need a helmet, and suitable
cycle clothing. As the event is in September, you may want to prepare for the worst of Britain's
weather, so some good waterproof gloves, a rain jacket, and perhaps waterproof cycling tights.
