Bike Shed Women's Night - Exeter
Thank you to everyone who attended our Women's Night, at The Bike Shed Theatre, beneath our Fore Street Store in Exeter. We hope the evening was as beneficial and enjoyable for the attendees as it was for us. Below, we have outlined a few key points from the evening; including contacts, links and reminders of upcoming Bike Shed supported events, which we believe you maybe interested in.
About eighty women from all aspects of cycling gathered to hear talks from Andy Middlebrook (Exercise Science Consulting) on performance training with particular relevance to women. Later in the evening our own Bill Bailey spoke on Specialized Body Geometry Fit and how performance and comfort can be improved through bike fitting. Women’s representatives from local clubs and organisations introduced themselves; Nik Rorke from Exeter Wheelers and The Kalas SW Women’s Race series, Bex from BG & E, Stephanie from Exeter CTC and Sarah Daniels from Force Cancer charity.
The Bike Shed /Bianchi Womens Race team were introduced and answered questions on racing and other aspects of women’s cycling.
We are aware there was a lot of information provided by all who provided a talk, so if you have any questions, links are available below to all of the speakers' respective websites.
