Congratulations on finding the best workshop available! We offer a full range of servicing and repairs from punctures to a full bike rebuild.

We have workshops in all of our stores and we are fortunate to boast some of the highest qualified bicycle mechanics locally with Chaz Curry and Ryan Styling both qualified up to Cytec level 2 and currently training towards the level 3 Cytec accreditation. Jimmy our other resident technician is working hard towards his level 2 Cytec accreditation.

Wheel building

Throughout The Bike Shed stores we have a number of highly skilled wheel builders. We are able to offer a large range of handbuilt wheels from Superlight Race, Strong and reliable Touring, BMX, and many more. At our Exeter store Chaz Curry practices the art of tie and soldering wheels to improve performance

Workshop Menu Exeter

Basic Service: £24.00. This service includes setting up the brakes and gears, replacment of brake blocks, tyres, inner tubes, grips/bar tape or cables. In summery this is a good safety check.
Genral Service: £40.00. This service includes all of the above works plus adjusting or replacing of the headset, hubs or bottom bracket wheel truing where nessasary.
Full service: £80.00. This includes all of the above works plus a strip down degrease and rebuild of the bike.

Barnstaple Workshop

At the Barnstaple store we offer a first come first serve basis so why not bring your bike to us so that our technicians can keep you on the road.
Servicing starts from as little as £16.00.
From puntures to rebuilds the workshop offers an on the spot service in emergancy situations or usually no more than a five day turn around on more specific jobs.

Crediton Workshop

Our Crediton workshop has been the saviour of many rider on the Lands end to John 'O' Groats route.
We offer a fast turn around and a first come first serve policy for repairs.
