"Carly is hard core dh supremo" - Luke. Yes, I am seriously into riding, not just doing it, but talking about it too. I work at the shop mainly on a part time basis as I study psychology at Exeter university. I am also on the committee of the university bike club.

I raced for the first time this year in the national student championships at UK bike park. Although I may have fallen off a bit, (see photos!) it was a really good weekend and I hope to do it again next year when the race is in Scotland. My riding experience hit a high when I went to Les Gets for two weeks, the combination of chair lifts, good weather and great friends really made it a fantastic biking holiday.

What equipment?

I started my riding passion in 2007 when my first bike was built - a Kona Shred. Unfortunately it was stolen when I started university and replace with a Kona Cindercone. In the meantime I also had a Transition Dirtbag as my first full sus, but as this was too big for me I later bought a Kona Minxy. I still ride this bike today, but with many upgrades. (Saint brakes are awesome!)  Since working at the shop I have aquired a Specialized Safire Comp which I love, and I have sold the Cindercone and bought my first road bike - a WSD Trek 1.5 and I am very pleased to say I have also gone clipped in. Yay!
