Orbea are a Spanish bike manufacturer we've had the pleasure of dealing with for a few years now, stocking their range of well designed road, time-trial/triathlon, touring  and hybrid bicycles. Orbea are unique in the bike world in that they are part of one of the world's biggest co-operatives and all of their workers get an equal vote on company matters. They have a long history having been founded in 1840 and making bicycles since 1930. One of the few manufacturers still around with a europe based manufacturing and assembly factory. Orbea play a massive part in their local areas community and economy and the Basque region's influence is also very obvious within Orbea's walls. 

They will be asily spotted in this year Tour De France in their team's bright orange kit and bikes. Both the current olympic mountain bike and road champions are also Orbea riders so they have a strong racing pedigree.

It's definitely in the road and time-trial areas where Orbea are best known and their bikes are very highly regarded in these areas. They produce some of the most innovative and cutting edge designs all the way through from their entry level road bikes to the top end carbon speed machines. All their bikes have a touch of European flavour and provide something a bit different to some of the bigger American and Asian brands.
