Greg

Greg joined the team in May 2008, Greg is a keen racing cyclist and general bike enthusiast. Since starting club cycling five years ago, he has progressed to club chairman of the Exeter Wheelers Cycling Club

He began cycling at the tender age of 7 on his Raliegh Hustler, since then he has cycled throughout his adult life either for leisure or to commute. Greg got into longer rides for fitness and health back in 1993. He has since raced and ridden many miles and events. He has recently completed La Marmotte and gained his British Cycling Level 2 coaching award.

Greg is a keen cook and as an ex-veggie chef and vegan he is a great source of nutritional advice and the shops biggest user of SIS products. Greg also enjoys walking on the moors and gardening in his spare time.

What equipment?

Greg rides a Specialized transition time trial bike and a Trek Madone road bike.

Greg leads the tuesday night road rides, competes in road races, sportives and time trials and has occasionally been spotted on a mountain bike. Greg is a big fan of Oakley and Specialized shoes.
